The future built environment is being developed in rapid time with nearly 16000 new real estate businesses registered in the last 4 years in Pakistan.

However, the knowledge gap compounded over time in Pakistan has resulted in no action in developing any sustainable built environment that is resilient or cognizant of the fact that Pakistan is the Planet's 8th Most Vulnerable Nation to Climate Change.

This is not sustainable, nor safe for Pakistan, and we need a collaborative effort to ensure the sustainable future of Pakistan, and ensure the youth of Pakistan have a sustainable Built Environment to develop a Future Ready Pakistan.

The KEY to the future of Pakistan's Green Built Environment is The Combination of Neuroscience & Planet Science for Sustainable Architecture & Urban Planning for the objectives & realisation of SDG 11 - SUSTAINABLE CITIES & COMMUNITIES - IN PAKISTAN

This Future needs a focus on

soil health,
creation of green zones & community forests,
protected sponge & bio zones creation with a focus on native biodiversity and sustainable flora typology planning,
the pursuit of sustainable & renewable materials for construction,
& countering the rising Urban Island Heat Effect in Pakistan's Cities by introducing biophilic design thinking for real estate design and development.
It is important to also understand The PLASTIC & SOIL NEXUS, Rescue Soils in Distress from Micro Plastic Pollution, reduce & eradicate the Ecological and health issues of plastic waste & elevate public awareness about Plastics, the environment & human health.

As you know the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is signatory (107) to the COP 28 Declaration on Climate Action to develop Food Systems, & Farming Systems via Sustainable Agriculture. and is Signatory 52 for HIGH AMBITION MULTI LEVEL PARTNERSHIPS FOR CLIMATE ACTION.

The only sustainable way forward are 'Right Way Actions" mandating & Incentivising Real Estate Developers to develop sustainable real estate projects for Good Public Health & Wellness in Pakistan, and the National push for developing green & sustainable housing that includes

the design & development of sustainable community rooftop urban food farms,
rooftop solar farms
community forests in gated communities & societies,
the inclusion of developing Urban Forests within Pakistan's Regional & City Parks & Horticulture Authorities
the development of new sustainable & renewable materials for construction.
the protection & conservation of Pakistan's Natural Capital,
transparent reporting of finite materials used for in construction & real estate development
developing circular infrastructure for the future ready built environment of Pakistan
developing Biophilic Cities of Pakistan.
